Account Specialist

OSG is looking for a Compensation Manager to work at our headquarters office in Ridgefield Park, NJ. In this newly created position, you will work with OSG and all of its subsidiaries, establishing the organization's first discrete compensation function as we continue to scale the human resources organization to accommodate OSG's recent upward growth trajectory.

What you'll do:
  • Maintain, update, and administer/support the Bonus program for OSG and subsidiary companies
  • Serve as the central resource for all OSG companies regarding incentive plan design, maintenance, and administration
  • Manage salary increase program for all OSG companies including budgets, approvals, and communications
  • Resource to all OSG companies regarding job descriptions, salary surveys, and comp-related data
  • Design, propose, and maintain organization charts to be used for comp-related comparisons, RFP's, and executive guidance

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Minimum of 3 years of compensation experience in a multi-company environment
  • Hands on experience working with multiple sales groups to create and administer sales incentive plans
  • Demonstrated experience creating communications to instruct managers on comp-related processes
  • Demonstrated experience creating compensation metrics, trending data, and forecasting budgets
  • Demonstrated superior MS Excel skills to analyze and present data
  • Bachelor's degree

Technical Account Specialist

WhatCounts, An OSG Company, is seeking a talented and hard-working individual to join its Technical Support team. The Technical Account Specialist is a self-motivated, quick learner who specializes in the WhatCounts’ proprietary Email and Predictive platforms. This person is responsible for day-to-day interactions with clients regarding technical issues. In addition, the Technical Account Specialist is responsible for developing positive relationships with clients, escalating issues where appropriate, and providing follow up and status updates on a regular basis as needed. After an initial training period, the Technical Account Specialist will be assigned specific clients for whom he or she will serve as the main point of contact.

What you'll do:
  • Own and effectively manage a caseload of technical support issues from multiple clients
  • Resolve inbound technical support requests
  • Troubleshoot and reproduce issues by using the WhatCounts’ Email and Predictive platforms and other internal tools as needed
  • Learn and apply knowledge of the proprietary WhatCounts’ Email and Predictive platforms
  • Escalate technical support issues to the WhatCounts’ DevOps and Development teams as needed
  • Log case interactions in Zendesk and Jira – the ticketing and case tracking programs used by WhatCounts
  • Communicate regularly with clients on the status of case resolution
  • Field critical support requests from our low activity 24/7 OnCall system

2+ years of demonstrated experience providing technical support for software or web-based products, including:

Our Agency team designs, builds, optimizes, tests, deploys, and monitors millions of targeted email marketing programs through a full-service framework, allowing our clients to outsource the entire process. WhatCounts is seeking a UI Software Architect to guide and mentor the development team and own all front-end architecture as we bring multiple applications together.

What you'll do:
  • Advise stakeholders on front-end strategy, framework selection, and emerging technology
  • Lead a team of front-end developers in successful executions of software engagements
  • Contribute to the development of our internal tools and reusable architecture
  • Help move our design, development, and delivery processes into the next generation
  • Use front-end frameworks such as: React, Angular, Ember, Vue, etc.
  • Integrate with REST APIs or other back-end frameworks

What you'll bring to the table:

Preferably, 10+ years' experience performing principal roles including demonstrated experience in:

  • Using JavaScript at an advanced level with one or more front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Ember, Vue, etc.
  • Using HTML at an advanced level including semantics, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Using CSS, including preprocessors, naming methodologies such as BEM, and techniques for scaling CSS on large projects
  • Creating code optimized for production, via JS minification, “tree shaking” dependencies, image compression, etc.
  • Collaborating with the team across various disciplines: UX, design, tech, business, QA, etc.
  • Planning and estimating complex software application projects
  • Designing and implementing complex frontend workflows
  • Working with JavaScript to build tools like Webpack and the npm ecosystem
  • Working with source control at a basic level: Git, SVN, etc.
  • Acting as scrum leader for a team of developers
  • Executing projects in Agile including Scrum and Kanban
  • Using React at an intermediate/advanced level

Nice to haves:
  • Strong familiarity with advanced React concepts like Context, Render Props and Hooks
  • Experience with Angular.js
  • Experience writing automated tests for JavaScript code
  • Experience with libraries and tools in our stack (React Router, lodash, webpack, babel, Jest, Storybook)
  • Back-end development experience in Node or Java is helpful
  • Experience with front-end build tools: Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, or JSPM
